What Are Custom Vinyl Graphics?

Vinyl graphics are digitally printed or cut designs made from adhesive-backed PVC film. They can be applied to smooth, sealed surfaces like glass, metal, plastic, painted walls or display panels. Common uses include branding, interior décor, health & safety signs, advertising, and directional graphics.

We offer printed vinyl graphics, frosted and perforated options, clear and white self-adhesive vinyl, plus specialist materials for glass, floors and walls. Everything is produced in-house and cut to your exact size requirements.

Applications – Where Vinyl Graphics Work Best

Vinyl is one of the most versatile signage materials available. It’s easy to apply, weather-resistant, and suitable for both short-term promotions and long-term installations.

Glass & Window Graphics

Shop windows, meeting rooms, salons and showrooms often rely on vinyl graphics for branding and privacy. Our window graphics printing service allows you to display your logo, promotions or essential information directly on glass.

For one-way visibility, our perforated window graphics offer a great balance of privacy and branding, ideal for retail frontages or vehicle windows.

Need a transparent finish? See our clear self-adhesive vinyl printing option for glass and acrylic panels.

Wall Graphics & Interior Branding

Wall-mounted vinyl graphics are great for transforming workspaces. From motivational office quotes to directional signs in schools or hospitals, vinyl gives you creative control.

You can use our wall graphics printing service to order printed designs cut to shape and laminated if required.

They’re suitable for painted walls, smooth timber, sealed plaster or acrylic panels.

Floor Graphics

For safety messages, queue spacing, directional arrows or retail promotions, floor vinyls are a tough, slip-rated option. They’re particularly popular in supermarkets, schools, stadiums, warehouses and events.

We offer floor graphics printing with anti-slip laminate for durability in high-traffic zones. All graphics are easy to apply and remove as needed.

Panels & Flat Surfaces

Vinyl can be applied to boards like Foamex, Dibond (aluminium composite), Correx or acrylic to create cost-effective signage.

If you’re unsure what to use, our white self-adhesive vinyl printing service is a reliable all-rounder — great for applying to smooth, flat signs or displays indoors and out.

Vinyl Graphics Materials & Finishes

We stock and print onto a range of professional-grade materials from brands such as Metamark, Oracal and Mactac.

Monomeric vinyl is best for short-term or interior use, while polymeric vinyl offers better durability for external applications. For shaped or curved surfaces, cast vinyl is more flexible. Laminated options are available for added protection against UV, scratches or cleaning chemicals.

We supply:

  • Gloss and matt finishes
  • Permanent or removable adhesive
  • Grey-back or clear adhesive
  • Air-release backing (for easier installation)

Vinyl Graphics FAQs

What surfaces can vinyl graphics be applied to?

Vinyl graphics can be applied to smooth, sealed surfaces such as glass, painted walls, metal, acrylic, plastic, and sign boards like Foamex or Dibond. For textured walls or uneven surfaces, we recommend speaking to us first to check compatibility.

Are vinyl graphics waterproof?

Yes, all of our printed vinyl graphics are waterproof and weather-resistant. For outdoor use, we recommend laminated options to protect against UV damage and abrasion.

Are vinyl graphics waterproof?

The lifespan of vinyl graphics depends on the material type and where they’re applied:
Event or promotional vinyl: 6–12 months – ideal for short-term indoor campaigns
Monomeric vinyl: 2–4 years – suited to indoor or sheltered outdoor use
Polymeric vinyl: 5–7 years – great for medium- to long-term signage indoors or outdoors
Cast vinyl: 5–10 years – premium durability, ideal for vehicle wraps and exposed outdoor use
Laminating your vinyl can extend its lifespan, especially for outdoor applications.

Can I install the vinyl graphics myself?

Yes, you can — and many customers choose to do it themselves with great results. However, the larger the vinyl graphic, the more challenging it becomes to apply without bubbles or creases. That’s why we also offer a professional installation service, carried out by our trained vinyl application team. It’s ideal for wall wraps, full window coverage, or high-visibility installs where a perfect finish is essential.

Can vinyl graphics be removed?

Yes, most vinyl graphics can be removed using heat (like a hairdryer or heat gun) to soften the adhesive. However, some vinyls are manufactured with high-tack adhesives for long-term or exterior use — and these may damage paintwork or pull off plaster when removed. We always recommend testing a small area first, especially on painted or interior walls. If in doubt, let us know the application surface and we’ll advise on the most suitable vinyl type.. Most vinyls use pressure-sensitive adhesive that can be removed with minimal residue, especially when heated with a hairdryer or heat gun. Always test a small area first if you’re applying to painted surfaces.

What file types do you accept for artwork?

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, high-resolution JPG and PNG files. If your file isn’t quite print-ready, we’ll let you know and can help prepare it.

Do you offer a design service?

Absolutely. If you don’t have artwork, simply add our in-house design service when ordering. We’ll create a custom layout to suit your space and branding, and send you a proof before printing.

How fast can I get my vinyl graphics?

Our standard turnaround is 2–4 working days from artwork approval. Delivery is typically next-day via tracked courier. If you need it urgently, just let us know — we can usually accommodate express jobs.
