Yes, it does in certain circumstances. The thickness of acrylic signs comes into play when the size reaches a certain point. The fact is that the bigger the panel, the thicker it should be and this is to prevent the panel from ‘flexing’ under its own weight. 5mm thick panels are usually enough for most signs, however, when talking about signs in the region of 1500 mm x 300 mm, they need a 10 mm thickness.
